Are you a lover of apples? Red flesh apples are a feast for both the eyes and tastebuds. Their vivid inner colour ranges from rosy pink to deep crimson, bringing a stunning visual surprise with every slice.

We source three outstanding varieties:

  • Kissabel – Grown in England and Italy, these golden-yellow apples with a red blush reveal rosy-coloured flesh. Their crisp, crunchy bite balances sweetness with a tangy aftertaste, often described as a mix of apple and pear. Average weight: 95–200g. In season from December - April~

  • Redlove – Developed in Switzerland and grown in the Netherlands, Redlove apples are red both inside and out, with a glossy skin and firm, succulent flesh. Their flavour is fruity-sweet with tangy cherry and berry notes, slightly less tart than Kissabel. Average weight: 200g. In season from November - December~

  • Rosetta – A rare English variety, Rosetta apples reveal a rosette pattern when cut, with pink marbled flesh and a light, delicate sweetness touched by berry. Average weight: 95g - 150g - sold by the kilo. In season from September to November~

Red flesh apples are versatile: delicious eaten fresh out of hand, striking in fruit salads (their flesh resists browning), refreshing when juiced or turned into cider, and excellent for baking. Redlove apples, in particular, are prized for their dual purpose as both eating and cooking apples.

Packed with antioxidants, especially anthocyanins, red flesh apples help protect the immune system and fight oxidative stress. Their fibre aids digestion, while potassium and vitamins A and C nourish the body with essential nutrients.
