Yellow Pitahaya, also known as Selenicereus megalanthus, is one of the sweetest and most hydrating fruits in the dragon fruit family. With spiny golden skin and soft white flesh speckled with edible seeds, it’s light on the body but rich in natural sugars and minerals. We source from Colombia, Ecuador and Israel, where it grows in clean air and mineral-heavy soil under high sunlight.

At The Fifth Orchard, Yellow Pitahaya is used as a softener — a fruit for clarity, ease and emotional release. It clears digestive stagnation while gently uplifting the mind, making it ideal for times of lightness, integration, or simply when the body needs space to reset.

Its frequency moves primarily through the solar plexus and throat chakras, helping restore digestive rhythm, internal confidence and soft expression. In moments of calm or quiet reflection, it may also touch the crown chakra, allowing a clean upward flow of awareness and breath. This influence is subtle and non-stimulating.

In South American and Andean traditions, Yellow Pitahaya was and still is used after healing diets, fasting and plant medicine journeys. It is respected not just as a sweet fruit, but as a gentle cleanser and mood stabiliser that helps the body return to ease without force.

This is fruit for clearing space and inviting sweetness back in. A quiet guide from stillness into flow.
